Ask and You Shall Receive

      In May, I e-mailed the AZ Daily Star to ask them if they would be willing to write an article in their Eastside Edition about the New Spirit Loan Chest.  They immediately called and within a few weeks, there was a nice article about our Loan Chest and our need for donations.  We received a call from an organization in Green Valley called "Friends in Deed" and said they had supplies they wanted to donate!!!
    

     Thank you to John Lukecart and Ron O'Conner who took a 10 foot U-Haul van down to Green Valley and came back with it completely full with about 30 wheelchairs, 25 bed side commodes and 25 shower chairs and a few other items.  It was amazing!  All of us in K-Hall felt like it was our birthdays and we all received these wonderful gifts.
    

     Thank you to Shereen and Ron O'Conner who started cleaning and inventorying all the items.

     This is a wonderful example of agencies working together to serve our community; and a perfect example of God providing for us.  Thanks God!  ----
